I love flavoured salts! They’re an awesome way to sass up an avocado or flavour kale chips. When I found out how easy it was to make my own, I decided to give it a shot using my homemade keto gojuchang paste for something different. One word: Awesome! But don’t take my word for it. It’s so easy, try whipping up a batch yourself!
Keto Gojuchang Salt Recipe
Preheat the oven to 300F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the salt and gojuchang. Stir until they are completely combined and the color is consistently maroon.
Spread the gojuchang salt over the parchment paper, aiming to make it a consistent layer.
Place the baking sheet into the oven, and turn off the heat. Leaving it on will cause your salt to burn.
Leave the gojuchang salt in the oven for 2-3 hours. Stir it once or twice to break up any wet spots.
Remove from the oven once completely dry. Break up salt with a rolling pin or mallet to break up the large chunks.
Allow to cool completely then transfer to an airtight container for storage.
