You know what sucks? Trying to make keto versions of holiday baked goods that use dried cranberries. That’s because sugar-free dried cranberries simply don’t exist. The best option I’ve seen on the market is apple-juice infused ones, but even those still contain a lot of sugar. That’s why I decided to set about making my own sugar-free version of dried cranberries, using a keto-friendly sweetener to make them palatable for desserts. This recipe is fairly easy if you’re handy enough with a knife and don’t need your oven for a few hours.

Keto Dried Cranberries Recipe

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.

  2. Cut cranberries in half and toss in a bowl with sweetener and avocado oil.

  3. Spread on prepared baking pan and try to create space around each berry as best you can. Put baking sheet in oven to dry, 4 hours or longer. Remove from oven, allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container in the fridge.
