Salsa verde (or “green salsa”), made with tomatillos, is harder to find in Canada, but I always pick up some when I go to the States and do some cross-border shopping. It’s nice on its own, but I really like it mixed with cheese and served hot in this easy salsa verde queso dip.

Keto Salsa Verde Queso Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • ¾ cup salsa verde
  • ½ cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded

Directions:

  1. Stir all ingredients to a small sauce pan set to medium-low. Cook until all cheeses are melted, stirring occasionally. Serve hot with keto tortilla chips, keto crackers or cut veggies. If you have a small fondue pot, use that to serve and keep it hot for your guests. If you have a crockpot dipper, you can just put all your ingredients in that a couple of hours ahead of time on low rather than use the stove top method, then leave it on ‘Keep Warm’ when serving.
