Having found Parmesan folio wraps on sale at Costco recently, I decided to come up with the perfect wrap to complement them. Being made of Parmesan cheese led me to decide that they should be Caesar wraps, but of course, they needed to be even more ketofied, so I included avocado, along with a few low-carb veggies like pickles asparagus spears and cucumbers. And I leave it up to you what kind of protein to include along with the crumbles bacon, be it chicken or salmon. I didn’t bother to include amounts. I figured the concept is clear enough, just take care not to overstuff, or if you do, have some napkins handy.
Keto Parmesan Folio Caesar Wrap Recipe
Ingredients:
- Parmesan Folio wraps
- Romaine lettuce leaves
- Cooked salmon or chicken
- Pickled asparagus spears
- Sliced avocado
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced cucumber
- Cooked bacon, crumbled
- Keto Caesar dressing
Directions:
Lay out the Parmesan folio wrap. Add 1 large romaine leaf or 2 smaller ones in the centre of the wrap.
Layer on the salmon or chicken, then layer on the avocado and veggies.
Sprinkle on the crumbled bacon and drizzle with Caesar dressing. Do your best to wrap the folio closed.
Curse yourself for having overfilled it. Remind yourself to use less or at least wrap it in foil or wax paper. Eat the wrap. Don’t touch anything until you’ve had the chance to clean your hands. Repeat.
