Vegan Keto Sleepy Time Banana Peel Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 organic banana peel, ends trimmed off (or 2 tablespoons dried organic banana peel)
- 1¼ cup water
- Optional: ½ cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg (freshly grated if possible)
- Optional: ⅛ tsp pure vanilla extract or 3-4 drops liquid stevia, vanilla-flavoured
Directions:
- Place peel, cinnamon stick (if using) and water in a small pot and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer on low for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and strain out the peel. Add vanilla or vanilla stevia or pinch of ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg if desired before serving.
