Tired of Christmas cookie-based martinis? Probably not, but maybe you just want to change up the flavour profile. This sugar-free keto-friendly cocktail goes the minty route: I give you the Sugarless Candy Cane Martini!
Sugarless Candy Cane Martini Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons crushed sugar-free peppermint candy (to rim glass)
- 1 teaspoon sugar-free cherry syrup (to rim glass)
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 20 drops vanilla-flavoured liquid stevia
- 3/4 teaspoon erithrytol, powdered in a spice/coffee grinder
- 1 sugar-free peppermint candy
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions:
Dip rim of martini glass into sugar-free cherry or peppermint syrup then into candy cane crumbs.
In cocktail shaker, add several ice cubes and all the ingredients except cookie crumbs. Shake until cold.
Pour martini into glass; drop a sugar-free peppermint candy into the drink and allow to settle for a minute or so to let the candy to melt into the glass and give a pretty red layer. Drink it up! I highly recommend making multiple drinks at the same time because everyone will want one when they see yours anyway. ;)
