This pesto eggs recipe is simple but elegant. By using pesto as the lubricant in the pan, you add all the flavour from the herbs and cheese of the pesto into the eggs, while adding a visually appealing look too. You can serve them over toast, in a breakfast sandwich or just on their own with the usual breakfast sides.
Keto Pesto Eggs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tablespoons keto pesto
- 2 eggs
- Crushed red pepper flakes, for garnish (if desired)
Directions:
Preheat frying pan over medium heat. Spoon in pesto, spreading over the pan.
When pesto starts to bubble, crack eggs into pan on top of the pesto. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes or until the eggs are done to your liking. Sprinkle with chilli flakes (if desired) and serve over toast or on their own with the usual breakfast sides.
