Sometimes you just want to have a fun shot to share with friends to celebrate some special occasion. With this sugar-free root beer float Jell-O shot recipe, you can have it with a bit of added fat and protein, and have an adult version of a favourite childhood dessert in shot form.

Root Beer Float Jello Shots

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the root beer, vanilla and gelatin. Let it sit for one minute.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, whisking occasionally until ingredients are completely dissolved.

  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the spiced rum. Allow to cool slightly then pour into shot glasses.

  4. Put the shot glasses in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.

  5. When the shots have solidified and you're ready to serve, top with keto whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
