Now that I have a keto pizza crust dialled in that doesn't compromise on taste or texture, I'm moving on to making keto pizza recipes. My first one is this BBQ pulled pork pizza, which combines a number of different keto recipes to make this tasty pizza-rrific sensation.
Keto BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- One batch of ketofied pizza crusts OR keto cauliflower pizza crusts)
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese and sharp cheddar cheese, grated and combined
- ⅔ cup keto sugarless BBQ sauce
- 1½ cups cooked pulled pork
- ½ cup red onion, sliced
- 2 dill pickle spears
- 1⅓ cups Keto Creamy Coleslaw
- ¼ cup jalapeno pepper, sliced (*optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions:
Prepare the ketofied pizza crust and allow to cool.
Set the oven temperature to 450F (or 425F if using cauliflower crust). Spread the BBQ sauce over the crusts on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat. Sprinkle pulled pork overtop then red onion. Sprinkle grated cheese over all. Arrange the sliced jalapeño peppers, if using in a circle leaving space in the centre.
Put pizzas in oven and bake for another 12-15 minutes ( or 7-10 minutes if using cauliflower crust), or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven then add the coleslaw to the centre in a big dollop. Place the pickle spear in the centre and garnish with chopped cilantro. Slice and serve.
